The way I made the Hawaii charm was I opened Adobe Illustrator (you can use any word processing program you prefer) and typed Hawaii vertically. I typed as many as I could fit on one 8x10 piece of shrinky dink paper I made sure they were spaced apart the way I wanted it.

I printed them on the shrinky dink paper and then punched them out with a tag hole punch I own. You don’t need to use a punch you could just cut them out in the shape you want. I then punched a hole with a small hole punch in the tag. Then I baked them and followed all directions on the shrinky dink direction page including sealing them with a Krylon spray. Here is an idea of how much they shrink up.
Tie an overhand knot as close to the last spacer bead as possible.
Measure the length you want the bookmark. I use a book to measure. Tie a knot on that side.
Now we are on the other side of the bookmark. Add a spacer bead, glass bead, spacer bead, glass bead, spacer bead, glass bead, spacer bead.
