Little Birdie Beauties

I am always up for a challenge...but $5 seems like a lot of money. LOL! I am linking up with Lindsay's $5 Challenge.

I must admit this idea was totally stolen from about 7000 blogs featuring these little beauties from the Dollar Tree. But "imitation is the highest form of flattery," right?

A little white spray paint never hurt a bird right?

Remember my homemade cloche? Well one of these birdies made its way inside of it. I added a little Spanish moss from the Dollar Tree and WAHLAAAAA!

I thought the birdie needed something to do all locked up in the cloche. So I figured sitting on some eggs would keep her busy.

So I ate a handful and gave her a few. :-)

  7. I would never have thought to paint the birds white - they look much more classy and expensive than Dollar store finds.

  8. Super cute. What a great way to change those cheesy (sorry if anyone out there is in love with them) dollar store figures into something cute. It's amazing the stuff I would never think to do... super cute though. I agree, makes them look a lot fancier and more expensive. (Might have to do this.) : )
