Ballard Designs -oh how I love thee. The terrific part about this store is that this is one of only two of their Backrooms which is where all of their clearance and closeout stuff is sold. Their normally expensive stuff is way more affordable at this place. It was so fun to touch all the things I just get to peruse in their catalog.
Cute little Gallerie Hutch...catalog price $699.99. Backroom price $99!
I desperately wanted this Louis Wood bed frame for my guest bedroom which is regularly priced at $899. I love the caning and the legs looked like the exact design on my dresser refab. But at $323 it was still out of my price range.
It was a pretty large store and they had tons of furniture! If you are ever in the Atlanta area you must stop at one of the two Ballard Backroom stores. You will love it!
Lucky you. I had no idea until a few months ago that there was a Ballards Outlet store. Maybe I'll get there before I move from this area.
ReplyDeleteWish we had a Ballards Outlet here. I have never heard of it. It probably is just in your area. You really found some great buys.
ReplyDeleteYep, missed you! :)
ReplyDeleteand your photos of Ballards Backroom make me want to take a field trip to Atlanta RIGHT NOW!!
How fun and lucky you!! I love those clock faces, and what a great deal for $9.99!! Did you end up buying anything? I am envious...don't know when I will be in the Atlanta area anytime soon, but if I ever am...I am going there!!
ReplyDeleteHugs,
~Victoria~
Where? What? I live in Atlanta and this is the first time I've heard of it!!!!
ReplyDeleteNever commented before but had to on this post!
ReplyDeleteI so need to plan a trip to Atlanta now! I love looking through the Ballard catalog!! I love that Hutch! And what an awesome price! $600 off is my kind of deal!
Oh. My. Word. I had no idea this existed. Lucky for me, Chattanooga is a short drive from Atlanta! I'm hopping in the car now!
ReplyDeleteWHAT? Why does it seem that Cali is the last place to get all the cool stuff??? The only thing I can boast is Ikea.
ReplyDeleteSomeday...someday.
How did I NOT know that I lived less than 15 minutes away from one of the Atlanta locations?! (I've only lived here all my life...) I'm going tomorrow!!! THANKS!
ReplyDeletewow! my grandfather lives in Atlanta and I haven't visited in a long time. I feel a trip coming on!
ReplyDeleteIf you want we'll take your minivan and go to the Cincy one sometime. It is FAB!!! You have to take your seats out though, we'll need the room. ;)
ReplyDeletedamn am I jealous!
ReplyDeletePlease don't make me drool. I love that catalog. Wish there were one of stores in Portland!
ReplyDeleteOh man, when will they build one of those right next door to me???
ReplyDeleteHow jealous am I???? VERY! I didn't know there was such a thing.
ReplyDeleteWhere is this place? I have lived in ATL for 13 years and have never heard of it. I'm all for a decorating deal!!
ReplyDeleteWow! I'm jealous of the great deals in there! Love those clocks for $9.99!
ReplyDeleteYour pictures inspire me, maybe I will head over there after all. You seem to be popular with us Atlantans - maybe you should move here too!
ReplyDeleteahhhh! I'm drooling all over my computer and my hubby and I are actually going out there in a couple weeks. Must go to map quest right.now! I had NO idea! Thank you!!
ReplyDeleteWhat I want to know is, how much did you spend there?!?!
ReplyDeleteI will totally be onboard for the trip to the Cincy store!! Can't wait to see what you come home with.
ReplyDeleteOh, I'm jealous. I DO, however, have a relative in Atlanta too...may have to go there. Although I'm not sure I could ship home everything that I wanted and still make it cost effective!
ReplyDeleteWOW what fun. Wish I was there with you and had a uhaul. I was pretty pumped I got to make it to the JoAnn's store closing final days sale (terre Haute). But Buttons for a penny and patterns for a dime just doesn't compare.
ReplyDeleteWow! My Mom lives in Athens so maybe I could talk her into a trip over sometime. Looks like great deals. Jackie
ReplyDeleteI just found your blog and I am loving it! AMAZING! I have a question. I saw a post about your daughters room and I am loving the wall project. My walls are textured so painting stripes would be pretty difficult for a beginner like me. I was think of doing it with vinyl wall decals. have you seen or heard of someone doing this or do you know of a company I can go through? Thanks and I'll be blog-stalking again soon!
ReplyDeleteYes! I've missed you! I wish there were a Ballard's Back Room near here. Not that Atlanta is so very far away--but it seems like I'm only ever in the Atlanta AIRPORT, never really in town. Glad you're having a good time!
ReplyDeleteOh NO!! I was in the Atlanta area all week. Wish I had been able to check your site while I was there!
ReplyDeleteBeckie when will you be home? -Drew and I are in Michigan right now and we were hoping to maybe stop and see you and Tim on our way home on Saturday. Call my cell if your going to be home- 614-915-4190 Hopefully you don't have any crazy blogger friends that will call my cell. ;)
ReplyDeleteNicole
I used to go here when we lived in Georgia~I sure do miss it!
ReplyDeleteHave a happy Monday~ I am slowly making my way through all of the comments that I so lovingly received last Thursday when I was featured on SITS. Thank you so very much for visiting me.
oh my gracious, i'm jealous.
ReplyDeleteHey there! I was wondering if you have a preference between the Roswell location and intown/westside location for best deals and selection? My sister-in-law and I are heading there tomorrow, hope you have some input! Thanks!
ReplyDeleteThanks in advance! :)
ReplyDeleteI had no idea there was such a thing- I will have to check it out. Just moved to the area last year, so this is great info!
