Miss Berry Pink

Good Golly Miss Molly...sweet little Miss Berry Pink created quite the comment frenzy!

I LOVES IT!

Thank you sweet, opinionated blogger buddies for all your honest input. I am not sure what I am going to do with the chair yet but I love everyone's willingness to give me their thoughts-the good and the bad. The best advice was “don't change it just yet.” I think I am going to live with it for a while and see what I think. As I add more design elements to the room I think I will be able to form a better opinion. I can't say I might not try green first though. Loves me some spray paint!

So I realize I left out some crucial details about the room. #1 the walls ARE NOT WHITE! They are a pale pink. You can not tell because of my horrific photography skills but they are Barely Pink by Behr. The only white in the room currently is the headboard and the comforter. Secondly, the reason I did not do green in the first place was because I already painted a dresser sage green with a brown glaze over the top. Remember this? I did not want to paint the chair the same color but it may end up that way. All in all I appreciate all your advice and of course I will let you know what I decide.

Right now Miss Berry Pink remains untouched. I walk past her nearly every hour just to see how she is, if she needs anything, and how she is feeling. So far she likes my room. We'll see. Thanks again everyone...I have the best readers in the world!

Too fun! If you are happy - then the chair is happy...that is my view!

    Blessing to you sweet friend!

  3. I've been reading your blog for a little while now and I love it! I hope you don't mind, but I added a link to your blog on my blog roll. Feel free to drop on by if you want. I'm just getting started though! I love the chair. I am such a color girl though. I totally agree with the advice that you were given to just live with it for a while to see how you like it. As far as my opinion though (for whatever it's worth!), I say, keep it BOLD! :)

  5. She likes being pink...didn't she tell you so? I think a window treatment or even the right side table will make her not seem like she's "cheering" quite as much! The pillow helps too! Nope, she's happy...see her smile?

  6. Surely no one thought you'd leave the room without all the finishing touches that will bring it all together? I wish I could go girly in more than just my daughters' bedroom.

  8. I really love the pink, and I'm positive my grandmother had a chair that looked just like that, which makes me love it even more!
