The moment I have been waiting for is here. I have been training for 5 months. I started out gasping for air and thinking I could not run one mile without dying. And here I am running over 15 miles through the hills if Kentucky today! I an running the Bourbon Chase.
Along with my husband and 5 other couples I adore we will cover 200 miles in the next 30 hours. I am posting this at 11:45 a.m. which is our start time.
I am running leg 7, 19 and 31 if you are interested in checking it out. The weather calls for rain and thunderstorms for the entire time. Should be interesting! Either way I will definitely look like this after each run. Wish me luck and I will let you know how it goes.
Good luck Beckie!

That's how I look after working out. My sweat glands in my face don't work and so instead I look like I'm gonna explode. I got that from my mom, so it must be a salzmann thing.
ReplyDeleteGo, Beckie, go Beckie, go Beckie, go!!!!!!

ReplyDeleteWow, good for you! I just got into running about 6 months ago and I never thought I would like it so much. I havn't been able to find a 5k that I could participate in, but I did run one on my treadmill a couple of months ago. It sounds whimpy said like that, but it was a big deal for me. :)
ReplyDeleteOh I hope you did great - and had fun! :)
ReplyDeleteWow! That's awesome. Good luck!
