I didn't use hemming tape (because the fabric was a faux seude and would not iron without damage.) I just sewed them. Then I couldn't figure out that whole ribbon thing and the math it needed. I am not that smart. So I sewed the ribbons on and then just tied them where I wanted them to be on the cup hook and tucked the ribbon ends in the fold. It gives me a little versatility to raise and lower them more.
They really are as easy as she says there are and they are super cute.
Oooh, I like those!! Pretty color and I like that they're easy! :)

ReplyDeleteThose turned out great! my roman shades that I ordered from JC Penny just arrived today, so I guess this won't be my next project! LOL
ReplyDeleteHey, you need to stop by my blog, grab the pray for Luke button, post about it (so others will pray too), and then head on over to the prayer blog and leave a prayer!
(I'm your friend....I get to be bossy!)
Red and black? Very classy ;-)
ReplyDeleteI hope a lot of people who read your blog will go and pray for Luke as it is not good at all when a cancer comes back only one year after a remission ... We feel happy Pierre has been in remission for five years now and keep praying, he will continue that way. People think they are cured after 5 years but actually, it is safer to wait for 10 years.
ReplyDeleteYou have inspired me to try new things. Thank you so much!!!
ReplyDeleteI'm watching closely...every window treatment people make. With 74 windows coming up, I'm going to be a busy girl.
ReplyDeleteThey look great!
So cute! I think I'll use this pattern for my bedroom windows...they're in desperate need of something. :)
ReplyDeleteVERY super cute Beckie! Now, could you ask Mr. DeMille to pan out and show us the full effect of the gorgeous red with those stunning new black cabinets???
ReplyDeleteThe shade turned out great! I love hearing when others try "easy" projects and affirm that they are in fact, easy!
ReplyDeleteGirl, you are ROCKIN' this kitchen!!! I love it!! The red looks fab with the black cabinets. Told ya they were easy!
